Gioielli, oro e pietre preziose continuano ad essere considerati i beni rifugio per eccellenza, ma i Luxury Good non sono da meno. Due sessioni della casa d’aste meneghina che vedono il ritorno di lotti di grande qualità e valore che avevano caratterizzato le aste pre-pandemia.
Il momento di forte instabilità geopolitica non ha fatto altro che confermarne il ruolo da protagonisti nel panorama dei beni rifugio di gioielli, pietre preziose e oro, che pur nella loro volatilità, continuano incessantemente a salire, soprattutto negli ultimi quattro anni compreso il periodo della pandemia.
Inarrestabile da un lato la spinta verso l’investimento e la crescita soprattutto dei diamanti, a prova d’inflazione e altamente ricercati. Dall’altro il desiderio dei consumatori, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i Luxury Good, di investire su quelli destinati a moltiplicare di valore nel tempo, di acquistare beni iconici a prezzi più accessibili, scovare pezzi rari e contribuire contestualmente alla sostenibilità dell’ambiente partecipando alla “circular economy”.
Sotto questo trend in crescita che vede con favore chi ha scommesso finora e continua a puntare su questi beni di rifugio, Faraone Casa d’Aste si prepara a battere il 25 Maggio in due distinte sessioni rispettivamente 200 gioielli al mattino e 150 Luxury Good in tornata pomeridiana attraverso la ormai collaudata formula “live-streaming”.
Un’asta che conferma il ritorno di oggetti dal grande valore economico e qualitativo del periodo pre-pandemico alla base di battaglie entusiasmanti a colpi di rilanci da parte del pubblico collegato via telefono, la dedicata App MYFARAONE e le immancabili offerte scritte.
Tra i 200 lotti di gioielli di grande valore spiccano un bracciale Art Decò in platino con diamanti per una caratura totale di circa 55 ct., un collier di prima metà dell’800 con acquamarine da 195 ct e due diamanti sciolti rispettivamente da 7,46 ct e 5,38 ct oltre ad un doppio filo di perle naturali. Un anello in oro bianco con rubino (no heat) rettangolare del Mozambico di 5,21 ct circa, con contorno di diamanti navette fancy yellow di 3,22 ct circa, un rubino Burma (no heat) di 4,51 ct e uno zaffiro Ceylon sciolto (no heat) da 9,18 ct insieme ad altri pezzi di prestigio firmati Cartier, Pomellato e Bulgari chiuderanno la sessione dedicata ai gioielli. Sempre al mattino verrà battuta poi una collezione di foulard disegnati per Gucci da Vittorio Accornero, scenografo, illustratore e costumista che puntò sulla versatilità di questo accessorio.
Simboli di eleganza indispensabili del guardaroba femminile degli anni ‘60 e ‘70 e indossati da icone come Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Onassis, Sofia Loren e Monica Vitti, i foulard parte di questa collezione a tema floreale datata 1960 sono gli stessi raccolti nel famoso libro “Giardini di Seta”.
La sessione pomeridiana dedicata ai 150 Luxury Good vedrà, oltre alle immancabili borse Hermès, Chanel e Louis Vuitton, una serie di foulard e l’inserimento di oggetti e accessori da tavola come bicchieri e porcellane, firmati da prestigiose Maison.
Protagoniste sul lato borse una Hermès Kelly 32 in coccodrillo Porosus del 1992 seguita da una serie di Birkin 35 tra le quali due in pellame Clemence, una Gris Tourturelle del 2007 e una Chocolate del 2009, ed una in pellame Epson Rose Tyrien del 2011 bicolor.
A queste si uniscono due borse firmate Chanel di cui una nuova Paris-31 Rue Cambon Timeless CC shopping large in tweed blu notte e una vintage anni ’90 Maxi XL Jumbo Classic Flap Bag in pelle di vitello matelassè seguite da un Vanity Boite à Flacons Louis Vuitton in tela monogram e dettagli in ottone dorato.
Alle borse verranno aggiunti, novità di quest’asta, un Set di due tazze da thè Hermès in porcellana, Limoges Passifolia e Set di 6 assiettes calotte in porcellana, Balcon du Guadalquivir firmate Hemès insieme ad un set di bicchieri in argento a marchio Bulgari. Un set di cristalli Baccarat composto da 12 bicchieri da whisky, uno da 12 bicchieri acqua, 12 vino, 12 flute e da due alzatine tutti in cristallo lavorato con profilo dorato chiuderanno infine la seconda tornata dedicata ai Luxury Good dando appuntamento al prossimo autunno.

Jewellery, gold and precious stones continue to be considered the refuge goods par excellence, but the luxury goods are no less. Two sessions of the Milanese auction house seeing the return of lots of great quality and value that had characterized the pre-pandemic auctions.
The moment of strong geopolitical instability has only confirmed their role as protagonists in the panorama of refuge goods of jewels, precious stones and gold, which despite their volatility, continue to rise incessantly, especially in the last four years including the pandemic period
From one side, the trend towards investment and the growth in value of diamonds, untouched by inflation and highly sought-after, was unstoppable. On the other hand, the desire of consumers, especially in regards at luxury goods, to invest in those destined to multiply in value over time, to buy iconic goods at more accessible prices, to find rare pieces and contribute at the same time to the sustainability of the environment by participating in the “circular economy”.
Under this growing trend that favors those who have bet so far and continue to bet on these refuge goods, Faraone Casa d’Aste is preparing to auction on May 25th in two distinct sessions respectively 200 jewellery pieces in the morning and 150 luxury goods in the afternoon through the now consolidated “live-streaming” formula.
This auction confirms the return of pieces of great economic and qualitative value from the pre-pandemic period at the basis of exciting battles with bids by the public connected by telephone, the dedicated MYFARAONE App and the inevitable written offers.
Among the 200 lots of jewellery of great value, an Art Decò bracelet in platinum with diamonds for a total weight of about 55 ct stands out along with a necklace from the first half of the 19th century with 195 ct aquamarines and two loose diamonds of 7.46 ct and 5.38 ct respectively, as well as a double thread of natural pearls. A white gold ring with a rectangular Mozambican ruby (no heat) of approx. 5.21 ct, surrounded by fancy yellow navette diamonds of approx. 3.22 ct, a Burma ruby (no heat) of 4.51 ct and a loose Ceylon sapphire of 9.18 ct together with other prestigious pieces by Cartier, Pomellato and Bulgari will close the session dedicated to jewellery.
Also in the morning, a collection of scarves designed for Gucci by Vittorio Accornero, set designer, illustrator and costume designer who focused on the versatility of this accessory, will be launched.
Essential symbols of elegance of the women’s wardrobe of the 60s and 70s and worn by icons such as Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Onassis, Sofia Loren and Monica Vitti, the scarves part of this floral themed collection dated 1960 are the same ones collected in the famous book ” Silk Gardens “.
The afternoon session dedicated to the 150 luxury goods will see, in addition to the inevitable Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton handbags, a series of scarves and the inclusion of tableware and accessories such as wine glasses and china pieces, signed by prestigious Maison.
Protagonists on the bags side are a 1992 Hermès Kelly 32 in Porosus crocodile followed by a series of Birkin 35 including two in Clemence leather, a 2007 Gris Tourturelle and a 2009 Chocolate, and one in bicolor Epson Rose Tyrien leather from 2011.
These are joined by two Chanel bags like a new Paris-31 Rue Cambon Timeless CC shopping large in midnight blue tweed and a vintage 90s Maxi XL Jumbo Classic Flap Bag in quilted calfskin followed by a Vanity Boite à Flacons Louis Vuitton in monogram canvas and with golden brass details.
New to this auction will be added to the handbags a set of two Hermès tea cups in porcelain, Limoges Passifolia and a set of 6 porcelain cap sets, Balcon du Guadalquivir signed Hemès along with a set of silver glasses by Bulgari.
A set of Baccarat crystals consisting of 12 whiskey glasses, one of 12 water glasses, 12 wine glasses, 12 flutes and two backsplashes all in crystal worked with a golden profile will finally close the second session dedicated to luxury goods giving appointment to the auction scheduled for the next autumn.
